"Versatility" is what best describes Mauro Soli's vocal style. A pop singer at heart, Mauro was taken under the caring wing of Arrigo Pola - internationally-acclaimed tenor, and Pavarotti's first singing teacher. Over the past two decades Mauro Soli has matured as an artist and his exceptional vocal abilities have earned him a place alongside artists at an international level. Mauro is from Modena, birthplace of the late, great Pavarotti, but Australia is his second home. In fact it was ten years ago, during a holiday in this country, that he met his true love Tiffany. He now divides his time between Italy and Australia.

A chance encounter with record producer Claudio Parente created the ideal partnership for the realisation of a mutual dream. Mauro's distinctive and powerful voice captured the imagination of Claudio Parente, who was driven to devoting the last six months to producing Mauro's new CD titled "Soli" - a collection of ten songs which include  two original compositions. On September 22nd, Mauro Soli performed at Melbourne's Crown Palladium, at the Bella Italia Gala Dinner organised by the Italian Chamber of Commerce. Thanks to the likes of Luciano Pavarotti and Andrea Bocelli, pop opera is a trend which is currently sweeping the musical world. Now more than ever, younger audiences are attracted to opera and are rediscovering the appeal of a great voice.

And Mauro Soli certainly has that, and is destined to become an international household name in the music industry for many years to come.
