Claudio Parente   Clap Records & Promotions is primarily an independent record label, producing music for Australian and Italo-Australian artists. Clap Records' also promotes artists in the realm of musicals and cabaret, organising numerous shows and events within Australia, in the English language, and within the Italo-Australian community, in the Italian language. Clap Records & Promotions affirmed its status as a record label through several recording productions for Italian and Italo-Australian artists such as independent Italian artists Pasquale Petrossi (Banana Joker) and  Mauro Soli with his debut CD released in September 2007 “SOLI” .

Since 1989, Clap Records & Promotions has been under the direction and management of Claudio Parente, who, thanks to years of consolidated experience in the field of entertainment at a local and international level, guarantees professional, reliable services, whilst maintaining artistic integrity. Clap Records & Promotions is also responsible for the 2002, 2003 and 2004, 2005 and 2007 editions of "E' nata una stella" (refer to the section reserved for "E' nata una stella" in the pages that follow). These events also created important links with the Italian music sector, established via contacts in Milan and Rome.
